What is a draft order?
Draft orders are orders that are in the midst of being placed & finalized. It is a corporate cafeteria order where individual users are still choosing their meals. Draft orders have a cut off time of 24 hours. Once the order has been finalized post cut off time, vendors will receive the "New Order" notification with a "New" Order ID.
Draft order was build for vendor to prepare ingredient needed for that particular order and making sure that order will be accepted by vendor despite the shorter order notice.
How to view draft orders?
Step 1a: Once you have logged into the CaterSpot Vendor Management Portal, Click on "Orders" > On the top of the page, click on "Status" and select "Draft".
Step 1b: You can also view "Draft" orders in our CaterSpot for Merchant Mobile Application. Click on "Orders" > Click on the filter button and select "Draft".
Step 2a: Once the filter is applied, you will be able to see the "Draft" orders. Click on the "Order ID" to view the details. Here are a couple of information that you should take note of:

- Delivery Date
- Pick up time
- Items added
- Quantity
Step 2b: For the mobile app, once you have applied the filter, click on the "Order ID" to view the order details.
Are there actions that need to be taken?
No specific actions are required for draft orders. Vendors would need to keep an eye on the draft so that they would be able to estimate the number of pax and start prepping the ingredients in advance.
