      CaterSpot Delivery


      CaterSpot delivery is when our team takes full responsibility when it comes to delivering the order to the client. 

      • With CaterSpot delivery, it takes the load off from vendors and it allows them to fully focus on preparing the food only. 

      • CaterSpot assigns one of its drivers to pick up the order from the restaurant and deliver it to the customer's specified location.

      • Our team will be coordinating with the drivers to ensure they arrive for pickup on time to ensure no delays in completing the order. 

      • Upon driver’s arrival, the vendor needs to ensure that the correct order is handed over to the driver. 

      • Below is the important information that you should take note of to ensure a smooth pickup transaction: 
        • Order ID
        • Delivery Date
        • Pick Up time
        • Pick up outlet (if multiple)



      Vendor Delivery


      When a vendor decides to handle their own food delivery operations, it is referred to as "in-house delivery".

      • With managing your own delivery, you can ensure that food is prepared and packaged to your standards, and you have more control over the delivery process.

      • It is important for vendors to adhere to our Delivery date & Delivery time. 
      • CaterSpot has launched a new feature called "Merchant delivery tracking". This new feature is to help you provide a better delivery experience for your orders and matching that of CaterSpot Delivery experience customers are used to. 
      • In the "CaterSpot Vendor Management Portal", you will need to provide your driver's name and contact number on each of the order. Once you have filled up the information needed, we will send the driver a link to update their delivery status on the date of delivery. 
      • Clients will be able to see the delivery status on their delivery tracking page and they will be able to contact the driver directly if there are any issues. 
      • CaterSpot team will also have visibility and better help support if there are any issues or delays with the delivery. 
      • This feature will be available on both Desktop and our CaterSpot for Merchant mobile application.
